Rainbow Bridge

You are listening to "A Lifetime of Moments"

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,

Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,

When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,

Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.

On this golden land, they wait and they play,

Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,

For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,

Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,

Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,

Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

For just at that instant, their eyes have met;

Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,

The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,

Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They em   brace with a love that will last forever,

And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

Penny

An awesome lady who is missed everyday

Penny, my precious pug lady, who taught us the love and laughter a pug brings, whose antics tattooed her forever in my heart.  Your time ended with us ended far too soon. We will always remember the joy you brought to our life.

In Memory of

Lily Rose Russo  May 11, 2008  Lily Rose is our beautiful pug girl.  She was such a perfect child.  Her nine years on this earth went by way to fast.  Lily had many health issues.  This never stopped her from enjoying each day. She enjoyed playing ball even after she went blind. This little girl taught us all so very much.  Lily you will remain in our hearts forever until we all meet in Heaven one day.

Thank you for choosing us to share your life on earth with.  For now, enjoy health, playing ball & spending time with Grandma, Grandpa, Ginger & the rest of the "gang."

Love & Miss You so very much.   Always ~ Mom, Dad, Joseph & Nicholas  XOXOXOX

In Memory of

Hardy

Tonight, Hardy, went home to be with Father.  He passed quietly while I was holding him in my arms. For the years we had him and until he breathed his last he knew he was loved.

Hardy was around 18 years old.  With a rescue animal you rarely know exactly how old they are but we believe he was 8 when he came to live with us.  He was such a sweet boy especially since he was so brutally abused before we rescued him.  He had the softest fur I have ever felt on a pug.

We dearly loved him and will miss him terribly.  We have and will cry many tears.  His passing will leave a hole in our hearts that will never be filled, but part of having animals in your life is having to eventually let them go Home.  Tonight, Hardy passed from my arms and now he rests in Father's arms.  I look forward to the day when I will see him again in Heaven.

In His love, prayers and service,
Caroline and Mark

In Memory of

Ruff

Loving the snow...

I adopted Ruff before pug rescue was formerly found .. he was approximately 2-3 yrs old when we brought him home Summer of 1999.  He has suffered loss of spaces between his spine, as well as an allergic cough and congestive heart failure.   He has just gotten over an allergy cough right before the 2007 pug picnic.   The last few weeks he was noticeably stiff and had problems going up and down the stairs, but the vet said at some point he would need a walker with wheels and thought the time was very near.  His cough also came back and was going to call the vet on Thursdady.  However, yesterday morning, I found him in one of his favorite spots ... he passed away quietly in his sleep .... I had screamed so loudly the rest of the family came running ... they knew as soon as they saw him he was gone .... He was about 11 years old .... and the best pug I ever had .... and as always will take me forever to get over the loss .... but also glad to say the past 8 years have been absolutely wonderful with his company ....

In Memory of

Hanover's Black Raven

My dear Raven was always very close to me and we were really soul mates in many ways, as she always
knew when I needed a hug and cuddle, or to just chill out in the recliner and share a snack.  She was such
a comfort after my back surgery when we lay on the sofa or  recliner watching TV.

At 14 years old, she was the Queen of  The House, and wrote the book on  how to be a DIVA.  Her very
dignified manner demanded that her position be acknowledged by both her humans and K9s, yet she was
very loving to everyone, a great mom and even took in orphans with her own pups when needed.

She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her, and the house will never be the same again.
But her spirit does  live on in her grand and great grandkids who will keep her legacy before us.

Good by my angel.
Mom, Dad, and all who loved you so much.

"Lucky Jacobsen"

In memory of my faithful companion and beloved pug, Lucky, who passed away March 23, 2007.

Lucky joined out family when he was 7 weeks old and from day one he was the perfect pug and supreme ruler of the household.  It still amazes me how he captured our hearts.

with love,
